There is no easy path to becoming an IPGA Polar Guide. All of our current guides are professionals and have dedicated many years to becoming world-class expeditioners, guides and mentors. You too can become an IPGA Polar Expedition Guide.
IPGA regularly reviews practices in polar guiding. We tap into the deep knowledge of our active guides to document and publish standard operating procedures which are made available to our guiding community.
